Bread and Cupcakes in Wyoming

While in Jackson WY for my cousin’s wedding I had the chance to do some baking. My Aunt Barbara was in charge of the crew in the kitchen where we baked 27 loaves of Challah and somewhere north of 500 cupcakes.

Some of the decorations would have been great contenders at the BKK cupcake cookoff. This one was made to look like my cousin (and his wife’s) dog Mia.

The Challah is an easy and delicious recipe. See it here

 This giant Challah included 2 x 6 braids, a 4 braid, a 3 braid and a 1 spiral.

I was partial to the Vanilla with buttercream cupcakes. See all the cupcake and icing recipes.
