GASTROBALL CANCELED
BOO! (That’s a regular boo, like this sucks.)
Due to impending buckets of rain and suspended MTA service, tonight’s GASTROBALL at the Brooklyn Brewery has been canceled. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but you can blame it all on that pesky Hurricane Sandy.
This was a fundraiser for our Classrooms in the Kitchen program, so if you feel compelled to donate the fee, we salute you. If you are donating, stop by the store this week to pick up your bag of candy and goodies! If you need your money back, that’s totally cool too. Just contact us at the store to let us know and we’ll process it right away.
Many, many thanks to Brooklyn Brewery for offering to host the event, and also the following vendors for donating candies, apples, dj services, gift cards, crack pies and so much more.

Food lovers, show us what you’ve got! This Halloween join us at the Brooklyn Brewery for the first annual GastroBall – the tastiest costume bash of 2012. Come ready to party and decked out in your best food-related costume.
Hunky pizza delivery guy, slutty spare rib, best burger, zombie spatula, kale salad, amended farm bill, ikea meatballs, your favorite food truck or cookbook…you get the idea. Costume required!
You’ll get a beer token and a trick or treat bag filled with all kinds of Brooklyn goodies, and additional tokens will be available for sale at the Brewery.
GastroBall Costume Contest
Arrive by 8pm to enter the costume contest, hosted by The Brooklyn Kitchen. There will be awesome prizes from some of our favorite brands as well as local restaurants, stores and more!
Music provided by Darin & Greg Bresnitz (Finger On The Pulse / Snacky Tunes).
