What is your cancellation policy?If a cancellation is made at least 3 days before the class, we will honor a credit for the full value of the class, which can be redeemed at any time. If you cancel fewer than 3 days (72 hours) before the class, we can transfer you to another date for a $25 fee. Keep in mind that class tickets are transferable and you are always welcome to send someone in your place. All cancellations must be confirmed with a customer service associate by calling us at (718) 389-2982 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
When should I expect my tickets/what do I need to bring to get in?All class reservations are will call. Your name will be placed on a list in our registration system, and you will sign in when you arrive for class. You will be given a name tag, which serves as your ticket. If you’re signing up a friend or sending someone in your place, that individual can simply provide your name at the door.
How long is class?Classes are scheduled to run for 2 hours, though may go later depending on how much fun you're having!

Is my class hands-on?Yes! All of our classes are hands-on, which means you should be prepared to get messy. You’ll be working in a group of up to 8 people, and together you’ll prepare every dish on the menu. Get ready to make new friends!
Will we eat what we make?Yes, that’s half the fun! Our savory cooking classes culminate family-style meal, in which you’ll enjoy the fruits of your labor. Pastry classes include a taste of all dishes, and typically some goodies to take home too.
Is there food served in the Knife Skills class?Yep!
What happens if my class is cancelled?In the unlikely event that we have to cancel or reschedule a class, you will offered a full refund or transfer for your purchase.
The class I want to take is full. Can I get on a wait list?Absolutely! To put yourself on the wait list, go to our online calendar and click on the class you're hoping to attend. If it's full, you'll be able to enter your email address on the class page and click Subscribe. Should any spots open up, you'll receive an automatic email.
Do I have to bring anything with me to class?Just yourself! Since you will be on your feet and working with knives and fire, we encourage comfortable, closed-toed shoes and tied-back hair.
Who teaches your classes?Our instructors are food professionals from a variety of backgrounds. If you're interested in learning more about the instructor for your class, give us a call!
Can kids take classes?Most of our classes are 16+ (and a few are 21+). We confirm birth dates during the registration process (we never share personal information with third parties!). However, if you have any questions, please email us at email@example.com.
Is there booze?1-2 drinks are included with your purchase. Typically, we serve beer only. While we can’t allow you to BYOB, we can recommend nearby bars for you to continue the party after class.
I have an allergy. How do I make sure my instructor is aware?We take allergies very seriously. In addition to putting this information into your customer profile when you check out, we recommend sending us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know.
What about larger group registrations? We typically limit the number of seats sold together to 6, to make sure that all of our guests have a great experience. We offer a wide variety of private events, taught in our kitchens or in your home or office. We can do a class structure, based on our curriculum, or a wide assortment of other special offerings, from chef's table dinners to butchering experiences to cocktail parties and more.
